Identifying a 1941 Royal Quiet Deluxe

 If your typewriter has the case that is pictured above, it is probably a 1941 model.
Look very closely at the chrome band under the ribbon cover--it has a thin black band in the middle of it. This was only done in 1941 and 1942.
